BLUE STAR PATMOS – DAMAGE

BLUE STAR FERRIES announces that today August 30th, 2017 at 1.30 hours, vessel BLUE STAR PATMOS while conducting the itinerary PIRAEUS-SYROS-PAROS-NAXOS-IOS-THIRA-ANAFI while entering the port, suffered grounding on shallow waters. At the time of the grounding 205 passengers and 87 crew were on board the vessel. All passengers and crew are well.

For reasons of precaution the vessel's crew has evacuated the passengers, all of whom are currently transferred ashore.

The Company will issue a new press release for any further development.
