Embarkation procedures and document issuance begin several hours prior to the ship’s departure.

Drivers must be at the port at least 3 hours prior to the ship’s departure, otherwise they must contact the Port Agent to ensure that their booking is not cancelled.

For the high traffic and high demand itineraries, a waiting list is kept to all BLUE STAR FERRIES central Port Agents, at each port of departure.

Following the completion of all necessary documentation from the Company and the Port Authorities, drivers must bring their trucks to the designated parking area, adjacent to the ship and follow the crew’s instructions for the proper embarkation and disembarkation of the vehicle.

It is imperative that the drivers remain close to their trucks during the embarkation.

The company accepts no responsibility in the case where drivers are absent from their trucks during embarkation and miss the departure.
