Blue Star Ferries and all its vessels are certified under the “Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000” and “Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2004”. Following to a successful auditing the company was certified by ABS Quality Evaluations, member of the international American Bureau of Shipping Group. Certification under ISO 9001:2000 constitutes recognition of the high level of services offered by our Group. In 2009 the company and its vessels were certified per the new Quality Management Standard ISO 9001:2008.
ISO 22000
Blue Star Ferries applies onboard Blue Star 1, Blue Star 2, Diagoras & Blue Horizon vessels the “Food Safety Management System ISO 22000”. The Goody’s restaurants which operate onboard Blue Star 1, Blue Star 2, Blue Star Paros, Blue Star Naxos, Blue Star Ithaki & Diagoras, are certified as per ISO 22000.
